ME: 40y/o, Army Officer, Washington, DC Car: 2006 BMW X3 3.0i Fantastic, fast, and friendly---Auto repair without peer. Easily the very best car repair experience I have ever had. I was in town (Colonial Heights) for a military event, and really only had just one day to get several necessary repairs completed before heading back up to DC. Despite my very limited time constraints, Sarek Autowerke was accommodating, kept me informed throughout the repair process, and allowed me the flexibility to decide what work was to be completed. They were incredibly thorough and helped identify other problems and were candid enough to tell me whether or not I could let go, or if it was a potential safety hazard. Without hyperbole or exaggeration, this is the best car repair/repair experience I have ever had. I drive a BMW, and anyone with a luxury/high performance/import car knows that repairs are expensive (hence why i had several issues to work through). For the work caliber and volume of work they completed, I would have easily paid twice as much at a BMW dealership. Bottom Line(s): Customer Service: They called me often, and kept me informed; did not try to hide costs or expected repair times; could not ask for better. Repair: Excellent, my car drives better than ever. They checked everything; and I got it back the same day...probably an anomaly, but I was blown away with the quality and speed of the repair. Price: I have had work done at actual dealerships, and this is by far the most realistic, affordable AND MORE IMPORTANTLY honest pricing I have experienced. Intangibles: - The staff from mechanic to customer service rep were all well spoken and articulate. - This is a professional, knowledgeable organization that has not forgotten the customer. - The shop is clean and neat, almost surprisingly so. - The guys that work there are good, honest dudes. In a sentence-- use Sarek for Consistently high quality work at a reasonable price!!! Many Thanks to the lady that recommended Sarek for Mini Cooper service one day at a gas station--they are far more convenient, friendly, and cost effective than schlepping to the dealer!!!! Now I pass out their cards and recommend them to people at gas stations, church, work, etc. I Highly recommend them!!!

My wife's car broke down on a trip from South Carolina to New England which was the bad news. The good news was she was towed to Sarek. She didn't know the area at all and had no clue as to where to go to get back on the road ASAP without being taken advantage of. She drove a mini-cooper which many don't want to try to repair. Long story short it turned out to be an insurance issue and Jon at Sarek was amazing throughout the entire process. They are professional, honest, fair and patient. I highly recommend this organization to anyone looking for a first class auto repair facility they can trust!

Experienced, down to earth, friendly staff. Expensive? Nothing you wouldn't pay at a dealer and these guys give you much more personal attention.
